"The Quad" follows the ambitious yet secretive life of Dr. Eva Fletcher, the newly elected president of Georgia A&M University, a prestigious HBCU where everyone is looking to make a name for themselves.

Episode 1

GAMU kicks off Spirit Week. Eva deals with the fallout of her daughter's transgressions while Pettiway pushes for her resignation. Cedric faces murder charges and a public conviction. Sydney sparks a risky friendship. Cecil Diamond encounters a sordid past. Bryce makes an impassioned plea to his father. Hardwick and Eva receive an indecent proposal.

Episode 2

After giving Jason an ultimatum, Eva gets an unexpected overture. Sydney starts a new gig. Cedric is released from jail, hypnotized by guilt and remorse. Noni is tasked with a difficult challenge.

Episode 3

Eva makes Cedric an offer he can't refuse; Cecil Diamond receives harrowing news; an ominous Twitter feed rocks GAMU's campus; Noni gets advice from an unlikely ally; Sydney makes a chilling discovery.

President Eva Fletcher tracks the identity of the students in the leaked security video and lays down the law about rape culture on campus; a distraught Sydney struggles to cope with her personal life.

On the heels of Sydney's rape allegation, President Eva Fletcher and Coach Hardwick hear different sides of the story in search of the truth; BoJohn makes a bold play that backfires in his face.

Cecil Diamond tries to make amends with his sister before Battle of the Bands; Dr. Eva Fletcher faces an ugly spousal support battle with Derek; Noni runs into more band trouble.

Episode 7

Cedric gets a visitor from Chicago that shakes his whole world. BoJohn and Junior take a class experiment too far. Cecil Diamond comes face to face with the reality of his health. Eva brings Sydney back to GAMU.

Episode 8

Sydney and Madison shake up the GAMU Homecoming Parade with help from a few friends. Dr. Eva Fletcher is knocked on her heels both personally and professionally. Coach Hardwick makes a tough call, while Cedric discovers a new beginning. BoJohn steps up in a big way for the team. Tragedy strikes the campus.

Tensions rise when an anti-merger protest deteriorates into a violent clash between an alt-right group and the GAMU students; Eva is excited to meet Atlanta State's president, whose career she has always admired.

The day everyone feared arrives when the Board of Trustees announce the merger is a done deal. Cedric and Ebonie bring back the resistance track to let the Georgia University System know exactly how they feel.

Eva discovers that a trustee is responsible for contract irregularities that benefit him, personally. Cedric and Ebonie feel “Rise Up Together” needs a hook, but the only singer who can do it justice is Cedric’s ex—Bronwyn.

Students learn the building they fought to protect faces demolition due to the merger; Eva learns there's an upcoming faculty vote to remove her from the presidency; BoJohn spots the star recruit quarterback on his turf again.

GAMU's students decide to take matters into their own hands; concerned about Bronwyn's alleged pregnancy, Cedric's mother pays him a surprise visit.
