Ong bak 2 không phải là tập tiếp theo của bộ phim gốc năm 2003. Câu chuyện đưa ta về thế kỷ 15 tại Thái Lan với nhân vật chính là Tien. Mang trong mình dòng máu quí tộc, nên ngay từ nhỏ Tien đã không được cha cho luyện tập võ thuật. Thay vào đó cậu được đưa tới một lớp dậy múa Khon truyền thống.Không may cả gia đình cậu bị kẻ thù giết hại. Sau khi đau đớn chứng kiến cái chết của cả cha lẫn mẹ, Tien bị truy sát gắt gao bởi một nhóm người hành tung bí ẩn. Lưu lạc khắp nơi, thậm chí còn bị bắt làm nô lệ, cậu được Chernung thủ lĩnh của băng cướp Garuda Wing Cliff khét tiếng cưu mang.
