Nội dung của phim xoay quanh một cô gái trẻ tên là Chai Lam, người quyết tâm tìm gặp bằng được Mr. Worm, vốn là người đứng đầu của một công ty chuyên tìm kiếm người mất tích, và bắt anh ta phải tìm người yêu của cô ta là Ted. Những hồi tưởng sau đó cho chúng ta thấy cô bị chẩn đoán mắc bệnh bạch cầu. Trong khi hồi phục cô ấy giúp ông Worm giải quyết một trường hợp rất khó khăn. Trước khi tình hình sức khỏe của cô tệ hơn, Lam quyết định đến thăm quê nhà của Ted ở St Kilda, Scotland, để tìm ra nơi mà người ta gọi là “nơi kết thúc của thế giới”.
