Bộ phim kể về cuộc phiêu lưu bí ẩn nhưng không kém phần hài hước được dựa trên một địa điểm tham quan lâu đời tại công viên giải trí Disney. Một bác sĩ cùng cậu con trai 9 tuổi đang tìm cách bắt đầu cuộc sống mới của họ. Cả hai chuyển đến một biệt thự bí ẩn với giá phải chăng ở New Orleans và khám phá ra rằng nơi này còn nhiều điều đáng sợ hơn họ nghĩ.
